Terms of Service
ParentBridge is operated by an individual (a sole proprietor) established in the European Union / EEA — there is no registered company. Questions about these Terms? Email legal@parentbridge.space.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ParentBridge ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
ParentBridge is a co-parenting coordination platform providing shared custody calendars and scheduling, expense tracking and settlement, secure messaging, children's health and school records, a co-parent relay (text/email), and financial report generation.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be a parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver.
- You must provide accurate registration information.
4. User accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must not share your account with unauthorized individuals.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions
5.1 Free
The core of ParentBridge is free, including the custody calendar, messaging, expense tracking, your children's health and school records, and the co-parent relay (up to 25 relayed messages per family per month).
5.2 Premium — $9.99/month
Premium adds the power and "conclude-the-record" features: unlimited co-parent relay, Calendar Sync (iCal import) and custody templates, Calm View AI on incoming messages, and court-formatted expense and handoff exports.
5.3 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Refunds are governed by the respective app store's policy.
- You may cancel anytime in your app store settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent expense records.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Use the App for any illegal purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code, or interfere with security features.
7. Content and data
- You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App.
- You grant us a limited license to process your data to provide the Service.
- We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. AI-powered features
- Calm View uses Google's AI to summarize an incoming message you choose to analyze and to suggest a calmer reply. It is advisory only and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, or psychological guidance.
- It runs only when you trigger it on a specific message. ParentBridge does not run AI over receipt images or health data.
9. Health-data disclaimer
- ParentBridge stores children's health information as entered by parents.
- It is not a medical records system and is not a substitute for professional medical records.
- We are not liable for medical decisions made based on information stored in the App.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim; and we are not responsible for custody, legal, medical, or financial decisions made using information from the App.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the App settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Upon termination, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Economic Area (EEA) member state in which the operator is established, together with directly applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Any dispute that remains unresolved after 30 days is subject to the competent courts of the operator's EEA member state — without prejudice to your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
14. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
